Looking to replace partners for 7 to up to 20 games - 2-4 seats per game.
Seats are on the third base line Loge Box 146 with a great view of the field. I feel these are among the best seats in the park and are also covered so they are protected during rain and drizzly weather. Our previous ticket partners have been flexible regarding choosing games but usually each partner takes tickets for each home stand. Playoff games are also available (extra charge when billed by Red Sox)
Will take payment upon agreement and tickets will be sent upon receipt from Sox in early March. Prices for tickets shall be the actual cost of each ticket, so will vary with the opponent.

Alan: I am all set to proceed, but I understood I would agree to pay half of the total now and the second half by the earlier of February 1 or ticket availability but there is no way to Indianapolis cate that in the offer. Please advise. John
  • John, I am told by the Sox that there is no way to split payments so I will suggest you make the offer based on payment now and I will forward the tickets when they are available late February. This seems to be the standard method of sharing tickets through the Red Sox Partner Board system. Let me know if that is acceptable.

Alan: There is still no way for me to specify the games we have discussed. Also, while the number of games has been reduced to seven, there is no way to indicate that as to one of the dates we have discussed and agreed on, August 21 vs. Philadelphia, you only have two tickets available. Please advise.
  • John, I have made the changes to the listing and specified the games available that we discussed. Give this a try and let me know if you still have problems...

Alan, the listing is now verified but it does not appear that I can make on offer for the games we discussed, since there are only 7 instead of 8 and you advised that you only have two tickets available for one of the dates. Also, there does not seem to be a way to specify the games to which the offer sapples. Please advise.
  • John, I'm glad I worked out the verification with the Sox. I will contact my new account representative and figure out the details. I should be able to sell you all the tickets we discussed. Stay tuned and stay patient. I will work this out. Thanks

The listing still has not been verified by the Red Sox.
  • John, I am trying to get in touch with the Sox to clear this up. They are closed until January 2. I will be in touch with them as soon as they open next week. Have a safe New Year and I look forward to getting this behind us so we can look forward to the 2019 season. -Alan

I tried to make an offer but it says the listing has not been renewed, so I cannot.
  • John, I have asked them to review and renew the account since the tickets have been paid for. Please wait a day or so and the Red Sox will put it through their system. Thanks

I will buy four tickets for the games on April 12, May 29, June 21, July 25, August 8, and September 19 and two tickets for the game on August 21. Since I do not know the price of the individual game tickets, please let me know or else I will send a cashier's check for $110 x 26 x .50 = $1,430 once you provide your contact information.
  • John, My preliminary estimate was pretty close. Taking into account the specific tiers of each opponent, the total cost will be $2,880 with a 50% deposit of $1,440. Thanks. I think the next step is to go through the Ticket Board to make an official offer.

The games you proposed are fine, provided that you are willing to sell just those games, which amount to 4 seats for six games and two seats for one game, rather than the eight game minimum. Because I did not know whehter we could work things out when the April, May and September games went on sale last Saturday, I ordered four tickets for three additional games, so my preference would be to not have to pick any additional dates for your seats for 2019. If I can't buy the ones you have offered without buying four seats for another game and two seats for a second game, please let me know.
  • John, I'm fine with selling you 4 seats for 6 games and 2 seats for one game. Just confirm the dates you want to I can put it in my "final schedule" and we can make final arrangements. Thanks

I was hoping to hear back earlier this week regarding my games proposal. Please let me know when I can expect a response.
  • John, I have been working out the schedule with one of my seat partners to make sure I can give you the games you are looking for. Here is the availability: 4 seats for 4 seats for 4/12, 4 seats for 5/29, 4 seats for 6/21, 4 seats for 7/25, 4 seats for 8/8, 2 seats for 8/21, and 4 seats for 9/19. There are other games available but I am starting with the games you requested. Let me know if you are interested.

Did you see my last reply about specific dates?
  • John, I did see your dates and they seem fine. I will be doing a final review and get back to you tomorrow. Eight games would be great. Thanks

Hi there - wondering if your seats have an 'aisle' seat? I am definitely interested - but an 6'3" so the aisle makes my experience so much more enjoyable. Thank you very much.
  • Joe, Thanks for contacting me. Yes, our four seats begin at the aisle, which I like also. Let me know if you are interested in pursuing.

  • Yes, one of the four seats is on the aisle. These seats also have a bit more room than grandstand seats behind as well as cup holders. Let me know if you are interested.

Thank you fo the response to my prior question. Twenty games is too many given the commute. I typically go to 8-10 a year. Would it be possible to get that number of Friday or Thursday games?
  • John, I would entertain selling 10 Thursday/Friday games. Let me know.

Would you be willing to do 4 to 5 games?
  • John, I may be interested in selling 5 games but my preference would be for a minimum of 10. Let me know if you are interested since early bird ticketing ends 12/19 and prices go up about $8/ticket after that. Thanks

I live about three hours from Fenway and generally go to games on Friday or Thursday nights. What is the likelihood of my being able to get tickets for those nights? I would be willing to forgo Saturday and Sunday dates.
  • John, Thanks for contacting me. I think we could work out a deal for Thursday and Friday tickets if you want to commit to a total of 20. There are 21 of either Thursday and Friday. Perhaps you would be interested in taking an occasional Wednesday and Thursday when they are concurrent. Let me know if you are interested since the early sign up time is 12/15 and after that ticket prices go up an average of just over $8 each.

Hi there my name is Kevin, I’m interested in taking up 20 games. Do you have a ballpark price what it would cost me for 20 drafted games at face value for the 4 seats? Also being honest, can you tell me how these ticket resell? I love the sox and would go to a few games, but I am a young man mainly looking at this as an investment for ticket resale. Thanks I look forward to hearing back from you!
  • Hi Kevin, The cost of 20 games averages $110/ticket or $440 for each game with the early bird pricing. As to reselling, there is a Stub Hub app associated with MLB and the Red Sox but I never used it so I can't comment on how effective it is. I wouldn't think of this as an investment as much as an opportunity to enjoy a number of ball games with friends in great seats. Hope to hear back from you.
